There was an old Goffer called Hook,
Who sadly had run out of luck,
Sid Slice his old mate,
Said it's just down to fate,
I suggest you go back to your book.
So Hook looked at his book,
And taking note of it's verse,
Set off to the tee feeling nice
With one swing of his wood,
Oh dear 'twas no good,
He'd turned into his mate Sid Slice.
The moral of this little tale
Is that no matter how you swing,
If you listen to another Goffer,
Only frustration will it bring!
