Major Villan is known to his friends as ‘fluffy’, not for the odd slip of pronunciation but because of a downy fur rumoured to exist in his nether regions.
Major is an organiser, a champion of people who want to get things done. Rising to the challenge he will organise committees, develop plans and delegate responsibilities. In fact the Major is so good a delegation he often, strangely, has very little to do himself.
Apart from golf where he excels in using bargain equipment to great effect (ask him about his £39.95 driver), the Major has another talent up his sleeve. He is a man who investigates wrong-doings. He controls his fellow Goffers and awards fines for misdemeanours. Often his lead-in remark of “have you anything you’d like to tell me?” strikes fear in a Goffer. Followed by his comment of “Oh, really?” you realise you are on dangerous ground.
Finally, no mention of his exploits should leave out the Major’s stunning revelation of his sexual orientation. Standing in a bunker he announced in a broad voice “I’m coming out”. Goffers who were there took it as good advice and retired to a safe distance.
